- Thanks to its box office success in New York, Girl Play will open in San Francisco on May 13, 2005 at The Roxie Cinema!!!
"GIRL PLAY" OPENS THEATRICALLY IN NEW YORK CITY! (3/05)
- "Girl Play", which features Cara and Andy's "Whisper Love", opens at the Quad Cinema in New York City on April 1st (and that ain't no April Fools!) !!!
- The video release is also tentatively sheduled for this spring, and there is talk that the film might be shown on TV too!
CARA SINGS THE RING TONES IN JAPAN!
- Recently, songs from all three solo albums have been picked up for ring tones in Japan!
AWARD WINNING FEATURE FILM FEATURES CJ! (9/04)
- "Girl Play", directed by Lee Friedlander, opened at film festivals in July and took some top prizes, including Best Feature Film and Best Actress.
- The song, "Whisper Love", which Cara co-wrote with collaborator Andrew Ross, is featured prominently in a central scene in the movie!
- The film stars Robin Greenspan, Lacie Harmon, Mink Stole, and Dom DeLouise, and is based on the play "Real Girls". It is a romantic comedy, chronicling the development of the relationship of Robin and Lacie during the production of a play.

CARA WRITES LYRICS FOR FILM SONG IN JAPAN!
- Cara recently co-write the song "Fly" for the feature film "Survive!", which opened in Japan in the fall of 2004 from Toei Pictures.
CRITCALLY ACCLAIMED SHORT USES 3 CJ SONGS!
- The independent film "Give Or Take An Inch" by Lee Friedlander premiered November 3rd to a very receptive crowd at the Power Up! Benefit Gala in Beverly Hills. Honored at the event were Melissa Etheridge, and president of programming at Showtime, Jerry Offsay.
- The cast included Amanda Bearse (Married With Children), Michele Greene (LA Law), Megan Cavanagh (A League of Their Own), and Tim Maculan (Six Feet Under).
- Previously unreleased versions of "Stay", "Settle For Love", and "Spit It Out" provided much of the background music to the 15 minute short.
"NOW" LICENSED TO MTV!
- Recently, Cara inked a licensing deal with MTV's Bunim-Murray Productions for use in its popular shows "THE REAL WORLD", "ROAD RULES", "All-star Challenge" and "The Making of the Band".

"SUGAR SWEET" DOES THE FILM FESTIVAL CIRCUIT! (6/28/02)
- The Japanese independent film, "Sugar Sweet", makes the rounds this summer to film festivals across North America. After playing to sold-out houses in Miami and Toronto, it debuted in New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco,and Los Angeles!
- The film features 2 Cara Jones songs: "Candy Bar" and "Spit It Out"
